To qualify, applicants must be a childhood cancer survivor under the age of 25 and diagnosed before the age of 18 with cancer or a high grade or anaplastic brain tumor. Applicants must also be a United States citizen and be accepted into a post-secondary school in the fall of 2019.
The application will be available on our website in January of 2019 and is open until March 31st, 2019. No late submissions will be accepted. Forty (40) $3,500 scholarships will be awarded each academic year. To date, the scholarship program has awarded over $1 million in scholarship money to childhood cancer survivors across the country. The NCCS is deeply grateful to Centene Corporation and the Engelhardt Family Foundation for their generous support of the program.
