CREW Greater Philadelphia is proud to announce its 2021-22 Scholarship Program awarding scholarships to local deserving women intent on pursuing a career in the field of Commercial Real Estate.
BENEFITS OF CREW GREATER PHILADELPHIA SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:
• $5,000 award for tuition and books;
• Free student membership for 2021 and 2022 to CREW, and free registration to one CREW Greater Philadelphia meeting or event within 12 months of the scholarship award (excluding the Fall Charitable Luncheon);
Enclosed in this packet is our Application and Qualification requirements. Applications will be accepted from January 1, 2021, through May 15, 2021. Please send completed packets to CREW Greater Philadelphia via email at crewphilascholarship@gmail.com. Any questions may also be submitted via this email and will be answered in a timely fashion. Applications received before or after the above period will not be considered. [NOTE – this process will change with online application]
Scholarship winners will be notified of their award in July and will be invited to a CREW Greater Philadelphia event to receive their scholarship. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of CREW Greater Philadelphia.
In addition, CREW Network Foundation awards additional $5,000 scholarships (25 in 2020) with an application process running January 1st – April 30th. CREW Greater Philadelphia is one of 75 local chapters of the international CREW Network. CREW Network is the industry's premier business networking organization dedicated to advancing the achievements of women in commercial real estate. QUALIFICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
1. Must be a female applicant.
2. Must be currently enrolled and in good standing at a Greater Philadelphia Regional Accredited
College or University as a full-timer Junior in a Bachelor’s Program, or as a or Senior accepted
into a graduate program, or a Graduate student enrolled for the 2021-2022 school year.
3. Must focus your study in any of the qualified majors/disciplines focused on a career in
Commercial Real Estate, which are detailed on the CREW Network website:

limited to:
Architecture
Interior Design / Space Planning
Real Estate Law
Banking / Finance / Accounting
Development
Appraisal
Engineering
Environmental Consulting
Brokerage

4. Overall GPA of 3.0 or better – need to submit latest transcript, at minimum a printout of your
cumulative transcript from your school’s website.
5. GPA in Major of 3.0 or better – need to submit latest transcript, at minimum a printout of your
cumulative transcript from your school’s website.
6. Two (2) Letters of Reference from any two of the following sources:
a. From a professor in the applicable major;
b. From a current or past employer not related to you; and
c. From a personal source that has known you at least 5 years.
7. Required essay, as well as a history of employment, volunteer work or extracurricular activities
demonstrating the applicant’s leadership, outreach, and accomplishments.
