Incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university during the fall 2022 semester are eligible to apply. Applicants must be legal residents of the United States and at least 16 years old.

To be considered for the 2022 There’s Space for Everyone Scholarship, you must complete the form below and provide a 500-800 word essay that answers the following question:

How will you utilize your education and experiences to make your community a more equal, inclusive place for everyone?

Submissions will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. MT on April 4, 2022 until 11:59 p.m., MT, on May 2, 2022.

Judging Criteria & Awarding of Scholarships

Essays will be judged on content, grammar, style, and originality, with each criterion having equal weight. Judges will look for clear, original, articulate writing that’s logically organized and well-supported.

A third-party agency as well as the Diversity & Inclusion Committee will judge and score each essay based on the judging criteria and award scholarships to the applicants who submitted the eight top-scoring essays.
