About the “Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship”
Morelli Law Firm represents personal injury victims and has experience with TBI cases.
“TBIs pose a significant threat to life in the U.S.,” said Benedict Morelli, founding partner of Morelli Law Firm. “It’s also a major cause of disability in the country. Although enduring and overcoming a TBI is a major triumph, the obstacles that TBI victims must continue to hurdle can prove to be an even greater challenge.
“Our firm knows that the effects of a TBI can affect a victim for extended periods—sometimes for life. Impairments related to memory and thinking, movement, and senses, as well as personality changes and depression, are greater than what most people comprehend.”
Morelli explained this is what inspired his firm to create the “Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivor Scholarship.”
“We believe in providing encouragement in the darkest and the brightest of times—especially for TBI victims whose perseverance is driving them to achieve a higher education. We know such a person has the character to accomplish great things in life, and we want to be a part of it.”
